مفاهيم وتعاريف في نظم المعلومات الجغرافية

مالمقصود بالمصطلحات التالية:

1. P-GIS
2. PP-GIS
3. PP-PSS
4. C-GIS
5. CPS

وهي التقنية المعروفة في تحديد المواقع
PGIS = Participatory GIS
PPGIS Public Participatory GIS
PPPSS = Public Participatory Planning Support System
CGIS = Critical GIS
وهي مجموعة من المناهج البحثية المستخدمة في خدمة محورين من محاور نظم المعلومات الجغرافية وهما محور مناهج تجميع وتحديث البيانات ومحور التطبيقات الإجتماعية والأقتصادية لنظم المعلومات الجغرافية، ولذلك ينبغي اضافة مصطلحات من نوع:
Q GIS = Qualitative GIS
FGIS = Feminist GIS
PS GIS = post-structured GIS
SC-GIS = Scio constructed GIS[/align]

P GIS as Dr Wesam explained and I can add it is participatory and with PP GIS they are systems depend on using
data and software tools designed for non- GIS experts to use.


PPPSS is public participatory for Planning support system which contains geo-information technology developed to support one or more aspects of the planning process for instance:
problem diagnosis
data collection, mining and extraction
spatial and temporal analysis
modelling scenario building and projection
visualisation and display
plan formulation and evaluation
report preparation
enhanced participation
collaborative decision-making
